Summary of Clinical Experience
Dr Titus went to school at Melbourne Grammar and graduated from Shore School in Sydney. After completing his medical degree at UNSW he did his internship and general surgical training through Sydney’s northern rotation. His Urology fellowship was at the Royal Adelaide Hospital and subsequently he underwent a fellowship in Seattle Washington under world leading prostate cancer expert Dr Peter Grimm where he was introduced to MRI guided prostate treatment and diagnosis and rectal spacer technology.
Dr Titus has a strong interest in laser surgery for kidney stones and prostate diseases being the lead clinician at the Royal Adelaide Hospital for HoLEP for over ten years. He has pioneered the use of computer guided biopsies in Adelaide and is actively involved in research involving bringing MRI/PET fusion technology into both diagnostic and treatment modalities in Adelaide.

Dr Titus was the first Urologist in South Australia to perform the following procedures: MRI fusion biopsies (2012), PET-MRI fusion (2020), Rezum steam vaporisation, EVOLVE Laser photo-selective vaporisation of the prostate (2013), Space OAR insertion to reduce toxicity of radiotherapy (2012) and non-invasive male urodynamics (2015).
Dr Titus is a Senior Consultant Urologist at Royal Adelaide Hospital. He also operates at Ashford, St. Andrews, Calvary North Adelaide and visits Port Lincoln and Berri.
He has had Internationally recognised training in brachytherapy and is a Member and Contributor to the Prostate Cancer Free Foundation (https://www.prostatecancerfree.org). This is a great honour as he was only the second Australian to be invited to join this worldwide panel of prostate cancer experts.
